One of the classic things to do in hong kong is riding the trams. These short wheel base single car trams date back a long time, and many of the cars are made mostly of wood. These are a sort of basic form of transportation, but at the current $2.30 HK for a ride, these are one of the cheapest ways to see the city from one end to the other. There is only really one set of tracks from one end to the other, so sometimes the Hong Kong trams end up stuck one behind the other lined up ready to go!
